Advancing Republican Values

Founded in January 2014, by thirteen Republican women recognizing a need in the community to establish an evening organization that serves both Bonner and Boundary counties.   The NIFRW's membership includes: business owners, caretakers, former and current commissioners, grandmothers, mothers, precinct committee women and men, professionals from the public and private sectors, students, retirees, and distinguished local and state officials, including a former state representative, as well as former and current state Senators.  The NIFRW is very fortunate to have high caliber members and associates that are willing to share their talents.  We are the only Republican Women's organization in Bonner and Boundary counties that is affiliated with the Idaho Federation of Republican Women, the nationally recognized National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) and the Republican National Committee - GOP.

In September 2015, only twenty months after commencement, the NIFRW was presented with the highest honor obtainable at the 38th Biennial NFRW convention - "A Diamond Award" Certificate and Diamond Pin.  This award reflects the immense efforts that the Republicans in Bonner and Boundary counties uphold.

The North Idaho Federated Republican Women (NIFRW) are committed to educating on local, state, and national government issues that directly affect North Idaho.   During its beginning in the year 2014, the NIFRW Executive Board of Director's chose to focus primarily on being the educational arm of the Republican party in order to concentrate its endeavors on building a "PREMIER" Republican Women's organization serving both Bonner and Boundary counties.  In 2016 and 2017, the NIFRW Leadership has expanded club goals and objectives to include education for Republicans campaigning in all aspects of local, state and nationwide government.

The NIFRW's purpose is to support Republican candidates AND to educate and encourage Republican women to run for office, and train them to be effective leaders with knowledge of proper political protocol.  The NIFRW promotes volunteering on Republican campaigns to understand the full spectrum of supporting or becoming a Republican candidate.  Like the National Federation of Republican Women, the NIFRW will be known for being the backbone and major powerhouse in Bonner and Boundary counties for supporting Republican candidates whether female or male. The NIFRW provides political factual data to further enhance local and statewide political knowledge which broadens and unifies members understanding of the inner workings of government. These Republican avenues of political involvement provide for a winning integration of power and success in electing Republicans to office.  In addition, the NIFRW has opportunities to fulfill many philanthropic needs in our local communities which provides for membership solidarity by working together in these humble efforts.
